Hi, I'm Cheree.

At Go Time Coaching & Advisory, I help leaders and organizations stop guessing and start fixing. My favorite question, the one that unlocks almost everything, is deceptively simple: why aren't people doing what they're supposed to be doing? The answer is rarely what you think it is. That's where I come in.

I'm an HR, talent, and culture advisor with over 20 years of experience working inside global organizations like JPMorgan Chase, BP, Lubrizol, and NielsenIQ. I've sat at the leadership table, carried the hard conversations, and built the systems that make teams actually work. I'm not observing from the outside. I've been in the room.

One of those rooms was BP Texas City where I was brought in after a catastrophic explosion to help reset leadership and culture from the inside out. No refinery experience. That was the point. Sometimes the most useful thing you can bring to a broken system is a clear set of eyes, the right questions, and zero attachment to how things used to be done.

That experience shaped everything about how I work. I don't hand you a framework and wish you luck. I use a diagnostic approach grounded in my Robinson Performance Consulting certification and over two decades of real-world pattern recognition.  I locate the actual problem before we talk about solutions. Think of it as showing you the flashlight in your hand, when you've been stumbling around in the dark.

That diagnostic thinking is also the foundation of the Go Time Zones framework: a practical model for understanding why your team is stuck, why they're spinning, and exactly what needs to shift to get everyone moving in the right direction.

My clients call me a velvet hammer. I'll take it.

I hold an MS in Leadership and Organizational Development from UT Dallas, a BA from Baylor, and credentials through ICF, DDI, and Culture Partners. I'm also a keynote speaker and workshop facilitator so if you need someone to walk into a room and guide your organization toward the mirror to take at what's really going on, I'm your person.

No manufactured energy. No corporate BS. All hat, no cattle doesn't fly here. Just practical strategies, honest conversations, and a healthy dose of humor because the best outcomes and a good laugh are not mutually exclusive.

Leadership isn't a someday thing.

It's a right now thing. It's Go Time.

Behind the Scenes

Before we start working together, you might like to know a bit about me.

My husband, Scott, and I spend most of the year in the Texas Hill Country, then head north each summer to escape the heat. Our son is a recent graduate of Ohio State University.  We're so proud!

As a family, we love to travel, explore new cultures, and learn about history, customs, and food. I’ve always loved Mark Twain’s line, “Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness,” and I’m grateful for every chance to put it into practice.

I’m happiest in the kitchen cooking a big meal for family and friends, or on the porch watching the deer and antelope live their best lives. I’m an old-school hip-hop fan who never turns down a dance floor. And if I’m ever in a coma, please play a few Key & Peele sketches and I’m confident I’ll snort-laugh my way back to consciousness.
